PROJECT SUMMARY

 

At The Aster in Cary, North Carolina, our design intent was to create a refined multi-family community that balances modern sophistication with the warmth and scale of its suburban context. Located at 3025 Alston Manor Street, the project embraces a variety of typologies — garden-style, mid-rise and townhome ­– each tailored to different resident needs yet unified by a consistent palette of materials and details. We prioritized clean architectural lines and thoughtfully selected materials such as warm wood-tone finishes, large expanses of glazing, stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops to convey a sense of elevated living. From the expansive windows that maximize natural light to the subtle rhythm of the façade and the landscaped outdoor amenity zones, the architecture speaks to openness, community and a permanent sense of place within the Cary neighborhood.

 

Inside, the spaces are crafted to support both relaxed living and contemporary lifestyles. Each unit — from studio to three-bed townhomes — is outfitted with premium finishes, full-size washer/dryer, designer plumbing fixtures and thoughtful lighting, ensuring that form follows function without compromise. Shared amenities and the outdoor environment were designed with intent: multiple pool environments, landscaped courtyards and pet-friendly zones create varied gathering opportunities and reinforce the idea that living well extends beyond one’s front door. In every element, our goal was to deliver an architecture that feels both distinct and approachable: a community that stands out, yet feels entirely integrated into its urban-suburban setting.
