PROJECT SUMMARY

Raymie Johnson Estates is a 96-unit affordable senior housing community with 24 townhomes located in Stillwater, Minnesota. The property serves residents aged 62 and older and individuals with disabilities through Project-Based Section 8 vouchers. This was an occupied renovation that brought upgraded, modernized, and higher-quality housing to its current residents.

The renovation included an addition that expanded the leasing and mail area, enhanced amenity spaces including a new library created within a previously unused fifth-floor elevator bay, upgraded unit finishes, and a new parking lot, all while preserving a beautifully painted mural in the first-floor elevator lobby created by a resident. 

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

•  Upgraded amenities include a library, a new billiards room, entertainment room, and a community kitchen/gathering space. Additional amenities include a dog run, playground, bike racks, back patio/picnic area, and laundry facilities 
• Includes a unit mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, plus 2- and 3-bedroom townhomes.
•  Unit updates include modernized in-unit finishes and new appliances.
